Updated: Mar 27

Planning a wedding can be an exciting time for couples, but it can also be a stressful experience when it comes to managing finances. Here are some tips on how to budget for a wedding.
Determine your priorities
Decide on what aspects of the wedding are most important to you and allocate a larger portion of your budget towards those areas.
Create a detailed budget: Make a list of all the wedding expenses, including venue, catering, attire, decorations, and transportation.
Assign estimated costs to each item and make adjustments as necessary.
Consider alternative options: Look for more affordable alternatives to traditional wedding expenses, such as having a smaller guest list, getting married on an off-peak season, or DIY-ing some of the decorations.
Keep track of expenses: Use a spreadsheet or budgeting app to keep track of all wedding-related expenses, and regularly review your spending to ensure you're staying within your budget by following these tips, you can create a realistic wedding budget that allows you to enjoy your special day without breaking the bank.
If you are a Type A type personality and can determine your priorities, create a detailed budget you can still have a very nice wedding. We do recommend hiring a day of coordinator so that you can enjoy all your planning.
